Immediate Requirement for an Experienced Site Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading construction contractor on a live project in Severn Beach.
This is an immediate-start contract offering a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work with a highly regarded contractor known for delivering large-scale construction projects across the UK.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
You will work closely with subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and productivity throughout the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Managing daily site activities and coordinating subcontractors.
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Monitoring progress against programme targets.
Maintaining quality standards across all aspects of the project.
Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaising with project teams and reporting on site progress.
Resolving site issues efficiently to minimise disruption to programme delivery.
Promoting a positive and proactive site culture.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
Previous experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site management processes.
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Valid SMSTS certification.
CSCS card.
First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
