Site based around the Poole, Bournemouth area, with an operational office based in Yeovil. Typically working Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.Role
As a Site Manager for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and the team every day. This varied and challenging role offers the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled professional trade team in a secure environment with long-term contracts and opportunities to grow and learn. You’ll use your Site Management skills in Social Housing and planned refurbishment works, while also seeking ways to add real social value to communities and customers. You’ll be supported by peers, the team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions that grow relationships and revenue.While ensuring the smooth running of multiple designated sites, particularly within assisted living and retirement properties, you’ll deliver Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishments programs, internal/external painting, roofline replacements and small civil works. Your role will ensure all site personnel carry out tasks efficiently and effectively to enable contracts to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to Health and Safety for the team, the Client, or the public.What’s in it for you

Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contractsManage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (including Sub Contractors)Collate all pre-construction information (packs, asbestos surveys etc.)Ensure all necessary contract documentation/reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts ManagerIdentify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implementedEnsure all site work complies with Legal and Statutory requirements, including Health, Safety and WelfareAssist in the preparation process for estimates, bids and tenders in partnership with the Contracts ManagerCreate, manage and report on projects with multiple live site locations through the use of a master programmeAbout You
The successful Site Manager will have strong experience in Planned refurbishment Works, within Social Housing/tenanted properties, with a good working knowledge of internal or external works, and experience delivering through to completion/handover. You’ll typically manage a few sites at any given time, with commercial awareness to ensure costs meet budget requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential to build relationships with Clients and Tenants. You must hold SMSTS or associated NVQ, and be proficient with IT and MS Office. A full UK driving licence is required to travel to sites daily. The role will also require a DBS check.A Little Bit About Us
