Site Manager Newport

Our client, a leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction and utility projects in and around Newport. This permanent role would suit an experienced MandE Site Manager, Cabling Site Manager or HV Site Manager with a strong background in managing site operations, health and safety, and subcontractor teams.Key Responsibilities:Managing direct employees, subcontractors and site activities to ensure successful project deliveryImplementing CDM checklist requirements and maintaining high standards of site complianceConducting site inductions, health and safety inspections and regular safety briefingsReviewing and amending Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Issuing work permits, including permit-to-dig documentationCo-ordinating the hire and off-hire of plant, equipment and materialsMaintaining accurate site diaries and holding daily briefingsOverseeing activities including trenching, deep excavations, reinforced concrete works, duct installation and cable pullingJob Requirements:Experience in site management within the power, energy, water, gas, highways or wider utilities sectorExperience as an MandE Site Manager, Cabling Site Manager or HV Site ManagerStrong understanding of trenching, deep excavations, reinforced concrete works, duct installation and cable pullingCurrent SMSTS accreditationGood knowledge of CDM regulations, RAMS, work permits and site safety proceduresConfident leadership and ..... full job details .....
