Site Manager
to oversee the internal and external works of a 9-storey apartment block, forming part of a flagship mixed-use regeneration scheme. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a company known for delivering high-quality homes and vibrant communities.As
Site Manager , you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations across both internal fit-out and external facade packages, ensuring the block is delivered on programme, to specification, and in line with the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of internals and externals across a 9-storey residential block, ensuring alignment with build programme and sequencing strategy.
Coordinate subcontractor packages to drive programme adherence and maintain quality across finishes, services, facades, and external works.
Conduct regular inspections and sign-offs, ensuring compliance with design, specification, and building regulations.
Maintain accurate records and manage quality assurance processes using Fieldview or a similar system.
Collaborate closely with the wider site team and other departments including Technical, Commercial, and Customer Service.
Proactively promote and uphold health and safety standards on site, supporting a culture of safety-first at all times.
Monitor and manage material deliveries, stock control, and labour requirements.
Attend and contribute to site meetings, subcontractor briefings, and handover planning sessions.
Support the Project Manager in reporting on progress, resource needs, quality performance, and site presentation.
Ensure plots are completed to a high standard and ready for handover, with minimal snagging and strong customer feedback.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
Site Manager
in residential construction, ideally with a focus on multi-storey apartment blocks.
Strong knowledge of both
internal fit-out
and
external envelope
packages.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractor trades on a live site.
Confident in using digital QA systems such as
Fieldview
or equivalent.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Strong knowledge of current building regulations, NHBC standards, and health and safety legislation.
Track record of maintaining site quality, programme control, and safety compliance.
Experience managing works in a high-density urban development environment is desirable.
