You''d join an established operations team and work on a varied mix of projects.The roleYou''ll lead day-to-day activity on site, reporting to the Operations Manager and taking direction from the Project Manager on each project. You''ll make sure everyone on site has clear direction, works safely and keeps to the delivery programme. Health and safety is the priority.Key responsibilitiesAttend project sites as directedSupervise the project on site, making sure client requirements are met, reviewing progress and working with the Project Manager to monitor costsDeliver all site health and safety requirements, including inductions, and make sure risk assessments and method statements are followed by everyone on siteManage day-to-day activity for staff, contractors and subcontractorsMake sure PPE is worn as directed, and manage spare PPE stockSecure the site, plant and materials dailyManage maintenance of owned and hired plant, and check hire plant against the hire registerKeep the site tidy and organise clearance at the end of the projectReport progress and technical issues to the Project Manager, and keep programmes up to dateCheck designs and drawings, and prepare routine site reportsKeep a daily site diary covering visitors, workers, deliveries and issuesReceive and check deliveries, and pass delivery notes to head officeCheck plant ..... full job details .....
