Site Manager

Immediate opportunity for a Site Manager working for a successful civil engineering contractor in the civils and water sector Mechanical and Electrical experience on water experience ideally required Responsibilities of the Site Manager To supervise operations of Sub Contractors on site on a day to day basis Responsible for overseeing operations on the site on a day-to-day basis and that a project comes in safely, on time and in budget Ensuring site safety and environmental compliance Monitoring progress of the project Maintaining quality control procedures Keeping staff motivated and focused Problem solving Ensure processes and procedures are always complied with Ownership of ensuring that all defects/snags are recorded and closed off, internally and by the supply chain Role Requirements of the Site manager Be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach good writing and analytical skills and have solid experience in taking full responsibility and leadership Managing the site Subcontractors Ensuring that the site is always safe and environmentally compliant Direct the subcontract team demonstrating strong Knowledge of construction processes and health and safety procedures. Strong understanding of CDM and HandS requirements.
