Site Manager

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to work on the HMP Glasgow project. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile, secure site, ideal for a candidate with strong organisational skills and experience managing logistics on large construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all logistics operations across the site, ensuring efficient coordination of materials, plant, and deliveries
Manage site access, traffic management, and security procedures in line with HMP requirements
Supervise subcontractors, logistics teams, and site operatives
Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and site protocols
Coordinate with project managers and main contractors to maintain programme schedules
Maintain clear communication across all site teams and stakeholders
Resolve any logistical challenges to minimise disruption to the project

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager-on construction projects
Experience working on secure or high-security sites (preferred)
Valid SMSTS certification
CSCS card (Manager level)
First Aid at Work certification
Full PPE
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work within strict security procedures and deadlines
