Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 12-month freelance contract on a recladding project in Stevenage.

The project involves the removal of an existing solid brickwork fa-ade and replacement with a new brickwork fa-ade to match the existing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors.
• Oversee safe removal and replacement of the brickwork fa-ade.
• Manage scaffolding, temporary works, logistics and sequencing.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Maintain high standards of brickwork quality and QA.
• Review RAMS and manage site H&S requirements.
• Coordinate labour, materials and deliveries.
• Monitor programme and report progress.
• Manage snagging through to completion.

Requirements:

• Proven Site Manager experience on recladding, fa-ade or brickwork projects.
• Strong knowledge of brickwork and external envelope works.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• Good understanding of temporary works and scaffolding.
• Strong communication, organisation and subcontractor management skills.

12-month freelance opportunity with an immediate requirement for a strong, hands-on Site Manager with relevant fa-ade and brickwork experience.
