We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation and setup of temporary welfare facilities on a construction site in Kensington. This is a short-term role requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage fast-paced site activities to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations related to welfare facility installation
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and logistics (cabins, utilities, fittings)
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Oversee installation of services including water, power, and drainage connections
- Monitor progress against programme and resolve any on-site issues efficiently
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control
- Liaise with the main contractor, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain site records, permits, and compliance documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or similar projects
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS card (Black or equivalent)
- First Aid at Work certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and site compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and deliver within a tight timeframe
