Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation and setup of temporary welfare facilities on a construction site in Kensington. This is a short-term role requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage fast-paced site activities to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations related to welfare facility installation
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and logistics (cabins, utilities, fittings)
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Oversee installation of services including water, power, and drainage connections
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve any on-site issues efficiently
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control
• Liaise with the main contractor, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain site records, permits, and compliance documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or similar projects
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• CSCS card (Black or equivalent)
• First Aid at Work certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and site compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to hit the ground running and deliver within a tight timeframe
