Freelance Site Manager - Wolverhampton

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support an upcoming retail new-build project, scheduled to run for approximately 34 weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and proactive Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within live or operational environments.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience working in live/operational environments
• Excellent site leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage programmes, subcontractors, and site teams effectively

Certifications Required

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations from start to completion
• Manage subcontractors, labour, and site activities
• Ensure full health & safety compliance on site
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Monitor programme, progress, and site reporting
