Site Manager - Sprinkler Systems / Mechanical PipeworkLocation: Cardiff, South WalesContract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)Rate: Circa 40 per hourWorking Hours: 40 hours per weekWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support a major construction project in Cardiff on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for further opportunities depending on project requirements.This opportunity would ideally suit someone with a strong background in sprinkler systems and fire protection installations, although candidates with relevant mechanical pipework or building services experience will also be considered.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating installation activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with existing site-based supervision, engineering and project design teams to support the successful delivery of the project.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day supervision and coordination of sprinkler installation and mechanical pipework activities.Manage site operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.Monitor installation progress against agreed project programmes and deadlines.Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety regulations, site procedures and quality standards.Coordinate materials, equipment and resources to maintain project progress.Liaise with ..... full job details .....
