Site Manager - Solar PV & BESS

Location: Hertfordshire - anticipated initial project
Salary: -55,00065,000 per annum, depending on experience
Permanent | UK-wide travel and working away required

I''m recruiting a Site Manager to oversee construction activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects for an established renewable energy business.

You''ll lead daily site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work against the construction programme.

The role

• Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities.

• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, deliveries and site resources.

• Monitor progress and resolve site delivery issues.

• Maintain site safety, quality standards and accurate records.

• Work closely with the Project Manager through construction and handover.

What you''ll need

• Proven site management experience on utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV projects.

• Strong practical construction knowledge and subcontractor leadership experience.

• A track record of managing safety, quality and programme performance.

• Appropriate industry qualifications and valid site management certifications.

• Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor experience/qualifications would be advantageous.

• BESS experience would be beneficial.

• Flexibility to travel and work away on projects across the UK.

Initial project allocations are subject to confirmation. This is a UK-wide delivery role, with locations changing according to project requirements.
