Site Manager

Ivy Resource Group are working with a well-established main contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a permanent role based in Oxford. You will be managing a range of commercial projects in their Major Works Deparment. The Role:Manage the day-to-day running of construction sites and ensure work progresses according to programme.Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site operatives.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.Plan and organise site activities, labour, materials and plant.Monitor progress against the construction programme and address delays or issues.Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, site rules and company procedures.Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections.Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship, identifying and resolving defects.Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, architects, engineers, clients and consultants.Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and programmes.Manage deliveries and ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.Keep accurate site records, reports, diaries and progress ..... full job details .....
