Site Manager

ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential contractor for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the housing phase of a large residential development in the Cheltenham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in traditional housebuilding to join a live project and lead the day-to-day site operations.

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of a residential housing development.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality.
• Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project-Manager.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and maintain health & safety compliance.
• Drive quality standards in line with NHBC requirements.
• Ensure the project is delivered efficiently through to completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on traditional housing developments.
• Strong understanding of NHBC standards and residential construction.
• SMSTS.
• First Aid at Work.
• CSCS
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
