Site Manager Housing

Orchard Recruitment Solutions are working alongside a national house builder to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential housing development in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join an established contractor on a long-term residential development, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the site. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development from a site management perspective, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day running of the development Coordinating subcontractors and site labour Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained Managing programmes and ensuring works remain on schedule Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks Liaising with the client, subcontractors and other site management Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics Ensuring plots are delivered to the required quality standards Maintaining accurate site records and documentation Driving the project forward and ensuring key deadlines are achieved Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as a Site Manager within new build housing Strong knowledge of residential construction Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades SMSTS CSCS First Aid If you are interested in this role, please apply ..... full job details .....
