Site Manager (Holiday Cover)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a residential development project. The role will involve day-to-day site management, coordination of subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, and driving the project to meet programme and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality

• Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager/Director

• Maintain site records, permits, and health & safety documentation

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments

• Strong knowledge of externals (groundworks, drainage, landscaping, roads & infrastructure) preferred

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain a safe, efficient site
