Hill McGlynn is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project within the social housing sector in Havering.
 
This is a key role managing the refurbishment of a block of apartments along with surrounding outbuildings. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day site management of refurbishment works
  • Supervising subcontractors and site operatives
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
  • Managing programme timelines and coordinating site activities
  • Liaising with clients, residents, and stakeholders
  • Monitoring quality control and ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Reporting progress to senior management
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing or refurbishment sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
  • MUST hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
