Hill McGlynn is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project within the social housing sector in Havering.
This is a key role managing the refurbishment of a block of apartments along with surrounding outbuildings. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day site management of refurbishment works
- Supervising subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
- Managing programme timelines and coordinating site activities
- Liaising with clients, residents, and stakeholders
- Monitoring quality control and ensuring high standards are maintained
- Reporting progress to senior management
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing or refurbishment sector
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
- MUST hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000
