Site Manager - PortsmouthSite Manager - PortsmouthSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car AllowanceLocation: PortsmouthProject: £6m New Build and Refurbishment (Government Sector)About the RoleI''m currently working with a well-established regional contractor based on the South Coast that is ready to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of a £6 million new build and refurbishment scheme in Portsmouth, within a government-backed environment.This role will suit a Site Manager who is comfortable operating as a Number 2 on site, reporting directly into a site-based Project Manager, and taking responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of works.The scheme involves both new build and refurbishment elements within a live/sensitive environment, so strong organisation, awareness of compliance, and the ability to manage multiple packages is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Delivery and CoordinationSupport the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of site operationsOversee both new build and refurbishment work packagesCoordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered in line with programmeMonitor site progress and report on milestones and any issuesHealth, Safety and QualityEnsure full compliance with health and safety standards and site proceduresMaintain strong quality control across all packagesCarry out site inspections, inductions, and toolbox talksLogistics and PlanningAssist with short-term programming and lookahead planningManage ..... full job details .....
