Site Manager Groundworks Location: Carlisle Start Date: 21st September 2026 Duration: 4 5 Weeks Rate: £300 per day We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong groundworks/civils background to oversee a project in Carlisle. The position is due to start on 21st September and will run for approximately 4 5 weeks. Responsibilities Managing day-to-day site operations and groundworks activities Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard Monitoring progress against the programme Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed Liaising with contractors, clients and other site personnel Maintaining site records and completing relevant paperwork Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager Strong groundworks/civils background Valid SMSTS Valid First Aid CSCS card Good knowledge of health and safety procedures Strong communication and organisational skills Available to start 21st September Rate: £300 per day Duration: 4 5 weeks To apply or find out more, please get in touch with Harper Construction Recruitment. ..... full job details .....
