Site Manager

Site Manager required in Central London GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a commercial refurbishment project in Central London. Following the completion of said project, there may be opportunities for continuity on other projects with the company. As a main contractor, they generally undertake high end projects within retail, commercial and residential that typically range in value from 250k - 3m. Scope: WC Improvements, office refurbishment, staircase decoration Rate: 280pd Start Date: 5th October Location: Central London Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager: Monitor and manage all works to ensure quality of workmanship is of the highest standard Work alongside the commercial team to ensure the project is delivered successfully Management, control and mitigation of all risks relating to site activities Maintain accurate and timely project documentation Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities Maintain strong relationships with the client and consultant team Ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times Deliver the project to programme and quality expectations The Site Manager must have/be: Very client-facing Excellent communication skills Proven experience delivering high end projects Strong background working for a main contractor Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Site Management Ability to oversee day-today operations and subcontractors Strong ..... full job details .....
