Freelance Site Manager Required in Colchester GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor to join them on a project at the Barracks, and upon the MoD project being completed, move onto projects within a sensible commute of Colchester. Given the nature of the project, a BPSS clearance is mandatory which required 3 years employment accounted for. The assignment is ongoing and could very likely lead to a permanent position. The Site Manager must have/be: Experience working on MoD projects is advantageous Strong background working for a main contractor Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Site Management Ability to oversee day-today operations and subcontractors Strong health and safety awareness Excellent communication and leadership skills SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid BPSS Clearance Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager: Monitor and manage all works to ensure quality of workmanship is of the highest standard Work alongside the commercial team to ensure the project is delivered successfully Management, control and mitigation of all risks relating to site activities Maintain accurate and timely project documentation Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities Maintain strong relationships with the client and consultant team Ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times Deliver the project to programme and quality expectations If you are interested in the Site Manager position above, then please get in touch. ..... full job details .....
