Site Manager

Site Manager required in Central London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a commercial refurbishment project in Central London. Following the completion of said project, there may be opportunities for continuity on other projects with the company.

As a main contractor, they generally undertake high end projects within retail, commercial and residential that typically range in value from -250k - -3m.

• Scope: WC Improvements, office refurbishment, staircase decoration
• Rate: -280pd
• Start Date: 5th October
• Location: Central London

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Monitor and manage all works to ensure quality of workmanship is of the highest standard
• Work alongside the commercial team to ensure the project is delivered successfully
• Management, control and mitigation of all risks relating to site activities
• Maintain accurate and timely project documentation
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and consultant team
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times
• Deliver the project to programme and quality expectations

The Site Manager must have/be:

• Very client-facing
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience delivering high end projects
• Strong background working for a main contractor
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Site Management
• Ability to oversee day-today operations and subcontractors
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
