Site Manager

GVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist carpentry and joinery fit-out contractor, delivering high-quality projects across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in high-end carpentry, joinery, interiors or specialist fit-out who is looking to take responsibility for delivering projects to a high standard.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Managing the day-to-day running of projects on site
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site teams
• Managing programme, sequencing and progress of works
• Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality standards
• Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety and site compliance
• Liaising with clients, contractors, designers and other project stakeholders
• Monitoring materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Identifying and resolving issues on site
• Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within agreed requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional site environment

The Site Manager must-have/be:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within fit-out, interiors, carpentry or joinery
• Strong knowledge of construction site processes and sequencing
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• A professional approach when dealing with clients and project teams
