Job Title: Site Manager Groundworks Location: Birmingham and Across the Midlands Contract Type: Freelance / Permanent Start Date: Immediate Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a busy and growing Groundworks Contractor with multiple live sites across Birmingham and the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and motivated Site Manager to take charge of groundworks packages on residential and commercial schemes, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and productivity. IMMEDIATE START available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of groundworks on site including earthworks, drainage, foundations, services and externals Coordinating and managing site teams, sub-contractors and plant Ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards Working closely with the Project Manager and commercial team Ordering materials, scheduling deliveries and maintaining site records Chairing site meetings and managing daily briefings / toolbox talks Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager within the groundworks / civil engineering sector Background in managing groundwork packages on housing, commercial or infrastructure projects SMSTS (essential) CSCS card First Aid at Work Excellent communication and leadership skills Able to work across multiple sites in Birmingham and the wider Midlands area UK ..... full job details .....
