Site Manager Groundworks Location: Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire Start: ASAP Duration: 2 3 Years We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a long-term groundworks scheme in Bishops Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong groundworks and civils background looking for secure, long-term work, with approximately 2 3 years of work available on the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the works on site, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the agreed programme and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day site operations Supervising site teams and subcontractors Coordinating groundworks and civils activities Ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification Maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality Liaising with Project Managers, engineers and subcontractors Monitoring progress and reporting back to the project team Managing site paperwork, RAMS and daily records Ensuring the site is well organised and running efficiently Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager Strong groundworks/civils background Previous experience working for a groundworks or civil engineering contractor is highly desirable Strong understanding of site health and safety and construction processes Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively SMSTS CSCS First Aid Strong communication and ..... full job details .....
