Site Manager Groundworks Location: SN14 0UX - Chippenham Start Date: ASAP Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join an established build contractor to work on their groundworks side (self delivery) on a long-term project in Chippenham. The project involves groundworks and civil engineering works associated with a large building large shed The successful Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, coordinating multiple gangs and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate 3 4 groundworks/civils gangs working across site. Oversee daily site activities, ensuring works are completed to programme and specification. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries to ensure the project remains on schedule. Manage material and plant orders, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, HandS procedures and site requirements. Monitor quality of works and ensure any issues are identified and addressed promptly. Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives. Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and relevant project documentation. Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on progress. Ideally utilise Procore for site documentation, reporting and project management. Requirements: Previous ..... full job details .....
