Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a busy and growing Groundworks Contractor with multiple live sites across Birmingham and the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and motivated Site Manager to take charge of groundworks packages on residential and commercial schemes, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
IMMEDIATE START available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of groundworks on site including earthworks, drainage, foundations, services & externals

Coordinating and managing site teams, sub-contractors and plant
-
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards

Working closely with the Project Manager and commercial team
-
Ordering materials, scheduling deliveries and maintaining site records
-
Chairing site meetings and managing daily briefings / toolbox talks
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the groundworks / civil engineering sector
-
Background in managing groundwork packages on housing, commercial or infrastructure projects
-
SMSTS (essential)
-
CSCS card
-
First Aid at Work
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills
-
Able to work across multiple sites in Birmingham and the wider Midlands area
-
UK driving licence (preferred)
