The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas mains laying, utilities and civil engineering , alongside proven site management experience and a commitment to health and safety. A valid SCO1 or SCO2 qualification is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Manage direct employees and subcontractors on site. Ensure CDM requirements and site procedures are followed. Conduct site inductions and regular health and safety inspections. Review and amend RAMS where required. Issue permits, including Permit to Dig. Arrange the hire and off-hire of plant and materials. Maintain accurate site diaries and project records. Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks. Carry out regular site safety inspections.
