My client is looking for a site manager in Leeds city centre to join their busy team on a fit out project. This is a temporary ongoing job: Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end fit-out process, from initial site setup to final handover, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and schedule. Subcontractor and Team Management: Coordinate, schedule, and lead diverse teams (joiners, electricians, plumbers) to ensure smooth workflow and quality output, preventing overlaps. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce strict HandS protocols, conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and ensure CDM regulations are met. Quality Control: Ensure all finishes, installations (ceilings, floors, bespoke joinery, services), and the final product meet client expectations and high-spec standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain site records, progress reports, method statements, site diaries, and report to the Project/Contracts Manager. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact, providing updates and fostering strong relationships with clients, designers, and internal teams. Logistics and Resource Management: Oversee material delivery, site cleanliness, security, and resolve unexpected issues. Essential Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in commercial fit-outs, ideally with high-spec finishes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
