Site Manager Fire Remediation Location: Chester, with follow-on project in Ormskirk Rate: Up to £270.00 per day Start Date: Monday 2nd November Contract: Initial project until Christmas, with a potential 12-month follow-on project Job Description ProGroup Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee fire remediation works at a retirement home in Chester. The initial contract runs until end of year, with a further 12-month project scheduled to commence in January in Ormskirk. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction, fire protection or remediation works. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site activities, maintaining quality and compliance, and supporting the Project Manager with inspections, reporting and day-to-day project administration. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations across fire remediation and associated building works. Coordinate subcontractors, operatives and other trades to ensure works are delivered safely and in line with the programme. Carry out inspections and destructive testing of firestopping installations to verify quality and compliance. Provide technical guidance to operatives on firestopping details, installation standards and compliance requirements. Monitor health and safety, workmanship and progress against project deadlines.
