Site Manager

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a Tier 1 contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join a major warehouse / distribution centre project in Swansea.The successful candidate will have a strong background in large-scale warehouse, distribution centre or logistics projects, with particular experience managing internals and fit-out packages.This is a long-term freelance opportunity, with the project expected to run through to approximately June 2027.The RoleAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing works on site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring that the project is delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.You will be working closely with the wider project team and will have responsibility for managing internal works and fit-out activities across a large-scale distribution facility.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience working as a Site Manager on large-scale warehouse, distribution centre or logistics projects.A strong track record in internals and fit-out.Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades/packages.Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality and programme management.Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or on similarly large-scale projects.Relevant site qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS.Excellent communication and organisational skills.The ability to work effectively within a large project team.What''s on Offer 270 - 280 per ..... full job details .....
