Site Manager

Fawkes and Reece are working with a well-established Housebuilder to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support on a 130-unit timber frame residential development in Lancaster on an ongoing basis. You will play a key role within the project, with responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the development. You must ensure plots are progressed safely, efficiently and in accordance with the time frame set, quality, and company standards. Previous experience delivering timber frame housing developments is non-negotiable for this position. You must have a strong understanding of timber frame construction, erection, and sequencing, together with experience managing multiple residential plots through to completion and handover. Key Duties: You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the development, coordinating timber frame contractors, subcontractors, labour, materials, and plant to ensure the plots are progressing in line with the given time frame. You will monitor construction quality, workmanship, and health and safety, with particular attention to timber frame erection and the building envelope. The role will involve managing the timely progression of plots through the timber frame, roofing, external envelope, first and second fix, finishing, and handover stages.
