Site Manager

Fawkes and Reece are pleased to be partnering with a reputable housebuilder who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a 190-unit timber frame residential development in Manchester on an ongoing basis. You will be a key part of the project team, taking ownership of the daily site operations and overall delivery of the development. You will be responsible for ensuring plots advance safely, efficiently and in accordance with the agreed programme, quality standards and company requirements. Previous experience delivering timber frame housing developments is essential for this role. You will need a thorough understanding of timber frame construction, installation and sequencing, alongside proven experience overseeing multiple residential plots from commencement through to completion and handover. Key Duties:You will oversee the daily operation of the development, coordinating timber frame contractors, subcontractors, labour, materials and plant to ensure works remain on schedule. You will monitor build standards, workmanship and health and safety across the site, with particular emphasis on timber frame installation, sequencing and the building envelope.The position will involve overseeing plot progression through all key stages, including timber frame erection, roofing, external envelope, 1st and 2nd fix, finishing works and final handover.
