Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Swindon office. You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service to our customers, the daily running of the site and ensuring a safe environment for all who work on or visit the site. You need to be computer savvy to respond to the growing use of technology in construction generally and daily site procedures.This contractor specializes in newbuild and refurbishment schemes between 5m - 30m in a mix of sectors such as education, healthcare, MOD, blue light, commercial and industrial.You''ll be responsible for:Examines all construction information for accuracy, completeness and discrepancies, liaising with consultants and sub-contractors to ensure a satisfactory information flow in line with company information release schedule and technical queriesUnderstands the contract programme, updates and tracks progress on a weekly basis using ASTAProduces short term programmes related to the main construction programmeManages materials procurement in line with project construction programme procurement scheduleManages and co-ordinates sub-contractors'' attendance on site and ensures work is carried out in a timely mannerImplements and maintains the quality test and inspection plansEnsures all works are carried out in accordance with Company procedures, project specifications, drawings and current regulations and standards and any non-conformances are dealt with promptly and effectivelyEnsures ..... full job details .....
