Site Manager

We are currently working with a large developer who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to be part of the project team working on the delivery of a lightweight steel frame (LWSF) development on the outskirts of Cardiff.

This is a brand new, flagship development so the successful candidate will be involved in this project from the start and have the opportunity to influence recruitment for the wider site team.

Applications will only be considered from candidates who have a demonstrable track record of managing LWSF construction projects.

Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills are also essential, along with the ability to take ownership of the site and drive delivery.

• An integral member of the project team with responsibility for day-to-day site delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Manage the LWSF installation and subsequent construction stages.
• Monitor programme, quality and health & safety.
• Coordinate site logistics and sequencing.
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager, Construction Director, Technical and Commercial teams.
• Identify and resolve issues to keep the project on programme.
