Site Manager

Fairmead are currently looking for a Site Manager on a short term temporary basis on behalf of our client, a retail contractor With over 25 years recruitment experience we have a proven track record of delivering for all our clients needs. From our Cambridge office we are at the heart of major construction developments encompassing new build, commercial infrastructure projects around the world, including all regions of the property sector. Overview of role 3 Weeks work Location: Cambridge Salary: £240 per day Job Role: Site Manager Requirements Be well presented and distinguishable as the team leader. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and supply-chain alike. Be highly self-motivated and have a positive can-do approach to drive the project to a successful completion. Be able to work in a team, reporting to a contracts manager and managing junior managers. Demonstrate good team management and leadership skills. Take responsibility for the day-to-day running and organisation of the site, managing multiple elements of the project. Demonstrate ability to anticipate and solve problems as they present themselves on site. Maintain ordered and accurate information and records on the project. Lead on Health and Safety Must hold valid certification Skills Time; Be able to control the progression of the works by organising trades in accordance with the programme.
