About the Role: Site Manager, Canterbury
With a strong pipeline of projects ahead, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of diverse and challenging builds in Canterbury. You will be working on projects that push your skills, and provide scope for professional growth, whilst leading a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding results.At Cook Brothers Construction, you will be empowered to bring fresh ideas, refine your craft and make a lasting impact. Working closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Trade Partners and your site team, you will ensure projects are delivery safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality.Key Responsibilities
Strategically plan and effectively managing the construction programLead and support the team both on and off the tools to achieve project milestonesBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants and trade partnersProactively identify risks and implement effective solutionsOversee Health and Safety reporting and ensure site-wide complianceMonitor project budgets, cost control and quality standardsCoach and mentor the site team, fostering growth and successChair toolbox talks and site meetings, ensuring clear communication across the project teamEnsure adherence to construction methodology, codes, policies and proceduresAbout You

5-10 years site management experience in commercial constructionProven programme and planning management skills including last plannerA strong ability to use and maintain systemsProficient in quality assurance including the use of quality assurance systemsA proven track record of strong leadership and management – the ability to connect and influence peopleExcellent communication skills, including navigating challenges with confidenceA high level of Health and Safety leadership and compliance awarenessAbout Us
