Civils Site Manager - SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UKLocation: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear Reports to: Project Manager / Operations Manager Type: Full-time, PermanentJob PurposeTo manage and coordinate specialised civil engineering works across the SUEZ Sunderland site, including industrial concrete floor replacement, sub-base reconstruction, drainage, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with CDM Regulations 2015.The Civils Site Manager will oversee contractors, site activities, health and safety compliance, programme delivery, and quality assurance within a live operational environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Engineering and Infrastructure WorksManage and supervise specialised civil engineering activities including:Industrial concrete floor replacementSub-base excavation and reconstructionDrainage installation and repairsGroundworks and infrastructure upgradesReinforced concrete and hardstanding worksCoordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule.Ensure structural and site improvements meet engineering specifications and operational requirements.Minimise disruption to ongoing site operations during construction activities.CDM and Health and Safety ComplianceEnsure full compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and company safety procedures.Review and approve:RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)Construction phase plansPermit-to-work ..... full job details .....
