Site Manager - Structural Cut & Carve / Demolition

Location: Central London
Salary: -50,000 - -70,000 DOE
Type: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver complex Central London projects with a strong focus on structural cut & carve, demolition, enabling works and refurbishment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing technically challenging projects and will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery, safety, programme, quality and coordination of site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations and lead subcontractors and site teams.
Oversee structural demolition, cut & carve, enabling works and structural alterations.
Coordinate temporary works, propping, steelwork and structural sequencing.
Manage site logistics, labour, plant, materials and deliveries.
Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, specification and quality standards.
Review and implement RAMS, permits and construction methodology.
Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Construction/Project Manager.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
Identify and resolve technical, programme and site issues.
Maintain high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and quality.
Carry out inspections, snagging and assist with project handover.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction/refurbishment.
Strong structural cut & carve and demolition experience is essential.
Experience with temporary works and structural alterations.
Strong knowledge of construction health & safety and site management procedures.
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
SMSTS and CSCS required.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Central London project experience highly desirable.
