Site Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a new prison project in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, ideally with experience working for Tier 1 contractors. While prior experience on prison projects is preferred, it is not essential. Key requirements include holding SMSTS, First Aid, and other relevant construction certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day site operations and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to maintain smooth workflow.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

• Manage site documentation, health and safety compliance, and daily reporting.

• Act as the main point of contact on-site, liaising with clients and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.

• SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant H&S certifications.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience with modular construction methods is a plus.
