Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + car allowance

Company Overview:
Our client is an established main contractor with a strong portfolio of refurbishment and new build projects across the public sector. With a growing pipeline of work secured for the autumn, they are now looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring health & safety, quality, and programme compliance
- Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to specification and schedule
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain site records, reporting progress to senior management
- Lead refurbishment and new build projects in sectors including healthcare, education, and local authority
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience managing refurbishment projects (public sector focus: healthcare, schools, universities, council work)
- Exposure to new build is beneficial but not essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Trade background beneficial but not essential
Qualifications:
- CSCS (required)
- SMSTS (required)
- First Aid at Work (required)
- Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
