Job Title: Site Manager - Retail Unit Refurbishment

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Duration: 6 Weeks

Rate: Competitive (based on experience)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a retail unit in Thurrock. The primary scope of work involves oversheeting the existing roof and managing some minor internal works. This is a short term contract with a defined duration of 6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day site management and coordination of subcontractors

   

• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

   

• Managing site documentation and progress reporting

   

• Liaising with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders

   

• Ensuring project is delivered on time and to specification

   

Requirements:

• CSCS card

   

• SMSTS

   

• First Aid

   

• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
