We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a high-profile infrastructure project based in Birmingham.
This role requires a Site Manager with a strong background in steel structures, as understanding the specific demands and technicalities of these works is essential. In addition, a solid civils background is important to successfully coordinate with other disciplines and support seamless project delivery.
The successful candidate must also hold relevant competencies and experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator and Appointed Person, ensuring all site operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with all industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring all operations are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.

Lead on the planning and execution of works involving steel structures and associated civil engineering elements.

Act as the Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring all temporary works are properly planned, designed, installed, and maintained.

Undertake duties as the Appointed Person, managing lifting operations in compliance with LOLER and all relevant safety standards.

Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet programme and quality targets.

Maintain accurate site records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on complex infrastructure or civils projects.

In-depth knowledge of steel structures and civil engineering construction practices.

Current certification as a Temporary Works Coordinator.

Valid Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) qualification.

SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card or equivalent), and First Aid certified.

Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
