Job Title: Internal Site Manager Industrial Fit-Out

The Opportunity
An established main contractor delivering large-scale industrial and logistics projects across the UK is looking to appoint an experienced Internal Site Manager to support the fit-out phase of high-value steel frame industrial units.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked for a large subcontractor or tiered contractor on major industrial fit-out packages, and is now looking to step into a management role within a structured and professional delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all internal fit-out activities on large industrial units (e.g. warehouses, distribution centres, logistics hubs).
Manage subcontractors across trades such as M&E, partitioning, flooring, fire protection, and finishes.
Ensure all works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate site records and daily progress reporting.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth delivery from envelope to fit-out.
Enforce health & safety policies and site rules consistently.
Attend and contribute to site meetings, inspections, and handovers.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous experience delivering internal fit-out on steel frame industrial units (warehouses, sheds, logistics facilities, etc.).
Strong background working for a large subcontractor or on the subcontractor side of similar projects.
Knowledge of site logistics, sequencing of trades, and quality standards for industrial buildings.
SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (as a minimum).
Excellent communication, coordination, and on-site leadership skills.
Able to read drawings and proactively resolve on-site issues.
