We''re working with a well-established, regional main contractor with a strong reputation across Yorkshire for delivering new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects up to -5m in value.
Due to continued growth, they''re looking to appoint experienced Site Managers or Senior Site Managers to join their close-knit team. You''ll be based from their office near Leeds and manage projects across a Yorkshire in various sectors.
What you''ll be doing:
Overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish
Leading site teams and subcontractors with clear direction and strong communication
Working closely with Contracts/Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
Maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety, and site presentation
Attending and chairing progress and subcontractor meetings
Supporting and mentoring junior staff on site where required
What we''re looking for:
Proven experience managing construction sites (ideally housing, commercial, or industrial)
Ability to plan, programme and manage all aspects of the build process
Strong leadership, communication, and people skills
SMSTS, First Aid, and Black CSCS card (or working towards)
Scaffold inspection, asbestos awareness, and other H&S certs desirable
Full UK driving licence required
