Site Manager

The Shore Group are working in partnership with a leading brickwork subcontractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a commercial office refurbishment project in Southampton.

The Role
Our client specialises in delivering high-quality blockwork and masonry packages across commercial, residential, and refurbishment projects. They are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the blockwork construction for a new lift shaft within a commercial office refurbishment. This is not a live environment, allowing for smooth delivery without day-to-day office operations on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the brickwork team on site.

• Ensure works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards.

• Oversee the blockwork installation for the new lift shaft.

• Liaise with the main contractor and other trades on site.

• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and address any issues promptly.

• Maintain health & safety compliance at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing brickwork/blockwork packages.

• Knowledge of commercial refurbishment projects.

• SMSTS or SSSTS (essential).

• First Aid at Work (preferred).

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
