Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are assisting a regional-housebuilder in the region in their search for an-Site Manager. Ideally you will have experience with Timber Framed buildings

Main Responsibilities

• Help run a building site so homes are finished on time, to the right standard and in line with health and safety rules.
• Carry out and support quality and safety checks in line with company and group standards.
• Deal with outside organisations such as warranty providers, councils and utility companies to keep the build programme moving.
• Keep site records up to date, including inductions, health and safety logs, timesheets, accident reports and quality checklists.
• Make sure materials are ordered on time and stored correctly when they arrive on site.
• Supervise site workers and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time, to the required quality and within budget.
• Work closely with teams such as Sales and Customer Care to keep plot progress on track and deal with customer issues quickly.
• Make sure everyone on site follows health, safety and environmental rules to reduce risks and accidents.

Experience and Requirements

• Experience working in the housebuilding or construction industry.
• Knowledge of NHBC, LABC or Premier building standards.
• A good understanding of health, safety and environmental rules.
• A valid CSCS card.
• SMSTS qualification is an advantage.
• A full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision is preferred, but training can be provided.

Remuneration

A salary of up to -60,000 (dependant upon experience) + Car/Allowance-+ Package
