Site Manager

A privately owned, award winning, Manchester Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager for a Residential Apartment scheme in Manchester.

Reporting into a Project Director, you will be responsible for the construction of a mid rise block of apartments.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Managing all stages of new build apartments through to completion and handover.
• Monitor and coordinate works of subcontractors including carrying out inspections
• Monitor and report on programmes and to advise the Project Director of all potential issues that may lead to programme delays.
• Ensure that relevant information is recorded in accordance with contract and project requirements
• Coordinate meetings with various parties and ensure that minutes of every meeting are recorded, issued and agreed by all participants.
• Provide weekly reports to Project Management team

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working on similar residential projects for a Developer or Main Contractor. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to form effective working relationships. A valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card are also essential.
