Site Manager
Our client, a prominent company in the power utilities and energy sector, is looking for a dedicated Site Manager to oversee projects across the United Kingdom, with a focus on Scotland.
the Projects consists of New Electrical connections within the ICP sector. This role will be site based and there will be the expectations to travel with the potential of staying away if projects are further afield.
We will be open to hearing and speaking to Site Supervisors also who hold SSSTS / NRSWA Supervisor ticket looking to progress to a Site Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site operations for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Points, Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Independent Connection Provider (ICP) projects
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HSG47
- Coordinate and supervise civils and electrical work on-site
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and utility companies
- Ensure adherence to NRSWA regulations and supervise street works
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
- Provide regular project updates and resolve any on-site issues promptly
Job Requirements:
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification is required
- NRSWA Supervisory qualification
- Utilities knowlege (Power/Electrical LV/HV preferred) however, Gas, Water, Telecoms, Highways experience considered
- Strong understanding of HSG47 guidelines
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to travel and manage sites across various locations, mainly within Scotland
