Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a fast-paced -3m CAT B commercial office fit-out for a leading Design & Build contractor based in the City. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, subcontractors, and health & safety, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities during the CAT B fit-out phase
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to programme, quality, and safety standards
• Lead daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and inductions
• Maintain site documentation including daily records, RAMS, and progress reports
• Liaise closely with the project manager, design team, and commercial team
• Monitor and report on progress, highlighting risks and delays
• Ensure a clean, organised, and compliant site environment
• Oversee snagging and quality control checks through to practical completion
• Coordinate deliveries, site logistics, and waste management
• Uphold strict adherence to H&S regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering commercial CAT B fit-out projects up to -3m
• Previous experience working for a D&B contractor, Ideally within commercial fit outs
• Strong technical knowledge of interiors and fit-out methods
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential)
• Excellent communication and site coordination skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and programmes
• Competent with Microsoft Office and basic project reporting tools
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
